Art Club is an exciting group led by Ms. Squire, who also teaches an art class. While her class focuses on mastering specific skills and techniques, the Art Club encourages exploration and experimentation. Ms. Squire explains that Art club is about broadening student’s experiences with art, art history, artists & cultures, and experimentation. She states, “This club helps dive deeper into what Art is and discover their individual interests. Members get to decide on a theme to explore together and take some of those sessions toward applying it to a project that they plan on entering into a contest.”

Art Club is all about having fun and being creative. It gives you a chance to express yourself and try new things with art. Everyone is welcome! The club decides together what activities to do, like practicing with different art supplies, learning about famous artists, making art for contests, or planning fundraisers for supplies and events. It’s a great way to make friends and explore your artistic side!

“We hope to have more students participate in art club to make it a more fully functional club which will give us the ability to do, make, and learn about more art and art related activities.
