Renton High School’s Step Team, Unity Elite, has long been an integral part of our school’s culture, traditionally rooted in the Black Student Union. However, after COVID, the Step portion of the club gradually faded and eventually disappeared for several years. This year, a dedicated group of our own Renton RedHawk students have revived Step at Renton High School, embracing its rich history while also celebrating diverse cultures through this powerful art form. With deep respect for Step’s origins and its connection to HBCU, Unity Elite has put in countless hours of practice to perfect their craft. They are proud to share their passion and hard work, embodying the Pride, Tradition, and Excellence that define Renton High School.
