On Sunday evening, April 13th, 2025, around 5:00 pm, a 15-year-old male identified as Noah Corona was fatally shot outside of a Renton apartment complex. Someone inside a car shot at Noah Corona and another teen with him, close to Bronson Way North and Vuemont Place Northeast. They tried to drive to a nearby hospital but pulled off on Rainer Avenue South, located near the Les Schwab Tire Center, where they called for help. There were also two others in the car who were unharmed. According to the police, Noah passed away in the parking lot; meanwhile, the other teen who was shot was rushed to Harborview Medical Center. They believe it was a targeted incident. Veronica Ramos, Noah Corona’s family’s GoFundMe organizer, said, “At just 15 years old, Noah was a bright light in everyone’s life, spreading joy and love wherever he went. His smile was contagious, and his loving nature touched the hearts of many.”
