Each year, the Service Board (tSB) brings together high school students and adult mentors from many different backgrounds for a unique program combining social justice, service, and snowboarding. The program runs from late January to mid-May, meeting twice a week:
- Wednesdays: Youth-led workshops on topics like self-care, food justice, art & activism, gender and sexuality, and more.
- Saturdays: Community service projects and snowboarding trips to local mountains. (All gear, lessons, and transportation are provided. Trips cost $40, but scholarships are available so no one is turned away.)
The Core Program helps youth build leadership skills through community, identity, outdoor adventure, social justice, and positive risk-taking. Students can also earn service hours toward high school graduation.
High school students are encouraged to apply and be part of this fun and supportive community.
