Our hair is one of many sensitive things that is connected to our body, especially since it can get damaged a lot with curling irons or wands, straighteners, blow dryers, dyes as well as other hair products that are mainly all chemically made (like some shampoos for example).  So here are some ways to prevent breakage:

  1. Braid your hair before to go to sleep. Sleeping with your hair  not braided helps promote breakage.
  2. Stop using towels to dry your hair. Towels pull out your hair because the material is too strong for hair  but a option to help prevent this is to let your hair air dry, use a t-shirt to dry it, or use a microfiber towel.
  3. Use hair protein treatments. Protein treatments help strengthen your hair and promotes for hair growth.
  4. Use scrunchies instead of hair ties. Hair ties break off your hair, especially when you place your hair in tight pony tails, buns, etc. Scrunchies are looser and if you need to or want to a pony tail you should use one. but don’t make this your also go-to hair style.
  5. Use natural hair dye. A natural dye is henna which used much more than body art. Many stores that are sell natural products for hair and facial care.
  6. Stop using blow dryers, straighteners, and curling wands or irons. Blow dryers, straighteners, and curling wands or irons cause heat damage which may involve cutting your hair if your hair is in the worst case scenario of heat damage.

This are a several of many ways to prevent breakage and further damage to your hair. There are many stores that sell protein treatments or you can make your own. Treat your hair nicely because good looking hair is a confidence booster.
