The Mueller Report

The scandal of Russia’s interference in the U.S 2016 presidential elections has finally gotten new reports. If you are not familiar with the Mueller report, here is a brief recap of the last 2 years. In October of 2016 the US government had announced that they were sure Russia had an interference in the elections after finding so much evidence including digital footprints that lead back to Russian personnel. But Donald Trump denied all evidence, claiming he did not recall such events happening.

Now after that brief recap, let’s get into the new report.

Special counsel Robert S. Mueller III has been trying to gather information by investigating more in depth what truly went down in the 2016 elections, but Mueller’s attempts to interview and investigate had failed as contacting for an interview failed, getting the truth failed, and getting any sort of detailed answer failed. Mueller concluded there is insufficient evidence to prove that President Trump did or did not have anything to do with Russia’s Interference. Mueller also says he thinks there was a “pattern of behavior” from President Trump to try and stop investigation saying “the President sought to use his official power outside of usual channels. These actions ranged from efforts to remove the Special Counsel and to reverse the effect of the Attorney General’s refusal”

Though there is still no solid evidence Mueller says we can not clear the President just yet.

President Trump replies to the Mueller report through twitter denying everything once again saying it was “written by 18 Angry Democrat Trump Haters” continuing on to say they are just trying to make him look bad.

The question revolving around President Trump’s involvement in the 2016 interference will remain a question as of now.
