In 2014 Russia, Ukraine, France, and Germany signed a series of cease-fire agreements known as the minks accords, This agreement consists of a package of measures, including a ceasefire, and withdrawal of heavy weapons from the front line, Many view these accords as unclear. A couple of years later in 2019, a former comedian named Volodymyr Zelensky was elected president. Now in 2022, president Vladimir V. Putin seeks to prevent Ukraine from allying with NATO, causing further difficulties and now invades Ukraine on the 24th of February 2022.
Russia has commenced a long-awaited phase of attempting to seize the country’s industrial land.
We will defend ourselves. We will fight. We will not give away anything Ukrainian, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy states in a video on the 23rd of February. Russia had accused the western media of prolonging this conflict, saying that they would do anything to see more of it. The casualties of this conflict so far include a minimum of 367 Ukrainian children wounded since the beginning of this conflict, an estimated
amount of 1,141 damaged buildings, 99 of which were destroyed,
reported by Mansur Mirocalew.

Russia’s new offensive attack in the eastern region of Ukraine is beginning to take action “very cautiously, Russian troops are trying to find sensitive spots in the Ukrainian defenses but Moscow does not have the strength” Arestovych says in a
televised address. “Their offensive will fail – I give you a 99 percent guarantee” Oleksiy Arestovych states. US president Joe Biden will hold a meeting of allies to discuss this conflict after Kyiv has announced that Russia has launched a new offensive to attack the eastern region of Ukraine. It is said that this meeting will also
cover the “ efforts to hold Russia accountable”. This meeting has been broadcasted march 24, 2022.
Russia has forcibly removed 40,000 civilians from Ukraine. “Unfortunately I have to declare that as of today they are forcibly deporting” residents, Vadym Boychenko told Ukrainian television. “We have verified through the municipal register that they have already deported over 40,000 people” no one has been able to confirm nor deny this claim, Russia opposes this claim and states that they have not targeted Ukrainian civilians.

Russia and Ukraine have been in an ongoing conflict since 2014. Both sides suffered casualties and thousands of deaths in a matter of weeks, families lost their loved ones, and an increase in poverty rates that can be estimated to be over 70%.
