With summer vacation around the corner, it has us excited and all over the place with planning for the big break! Renton has events for our community, from now, to late August 2023!

 


Local Concerts

Summer concerts that will be performing in Renton are the:

 

Stacey Jones Band – July 06, 7 pm – 8:30 pm

Chrome Molly – August 03, 7 pm – 8:30 pm

 

Both of these concerts will be located at Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park, 1201 Lake Washington Blvd N.

 


Free Food and BBQ

Some places you can grab some food are, The SOS/Food Lifeline free lunch pop-up, The Neighborhood BBQ: UN public service day, and the Free Lunch Pop-Up!

Renton Farmers Market

To find the best locally grown flowers, fruits, and vegetables come to the Renton Farmers-market. Open on:

The Farmers-market will be hosted at Piazza Park, 233 Burnett Ave S.

 


Museums

The Free admission to Renton Historical Museum, and Free Museum Day, will be hosted in Downtown Renton where you can learn more about the history of Renton on these following days:

 

June 17, 10am – 4pm,
July 15, 10am – 4pm,
August 19, 10am – 4pm,

 

Museum tours are located at Renton History Museum, 235 Mill Ave. S.

 


Downtown Tours

Downtown Renton is holding the Renton downtown historic walking tours and the Renton
downtown art walking tours. Both of these tours will be at 235 Mill Ave S Renton, 98057 United, on
August 12. This will cost $25 to join each tour.

 


Community Service and Clean Up

Downtown Renton is holding a cleaning service where we can volunteer to clean up the
streets of downtown, as well as partake in the 2023 Recycling Event.

 

Renton Downtown summer cleanup June 24, 9am – 11am
2023 Recycling Event July 08, 10am – 2pm

 

The Renton downtown summer cleanup will be sent through email if you decide to sign-up. The 2023 Recycling Event will be at the Renton Technical College North Parking Lot NE 6th Place & Monroe Ave. NE.

 


Family Fun Entertainment Series

Family Fun Entertainment Series are having two events which are the Together at Last! and the Musical Trip Around the World. The Together at Last Family Fun Entertainment will be at:

 

Sunset Neighborhood Park, 2680 Sunset Ln NE. On July 10, 11AM – 1PM

And the Musical Trip Around the World is at; Heritage Park, 233 Union Ave NE. On July 26, 12:30PM – 2:30PM.

 


Reclaiming Our Greatness

At Liberty Park, 1101 Bronson Way, on June 25, 12PM – 5PM, there is a Reclaiming Our Greatness: Juneteenth Celebration where you can see: 14 performances & community speakers
