Lip Sync Battle

Angelina Sandoval, Staff Writer

On Friday, March 8, Renton High School’s drama class put on a lip sync showcase for their peers and showed the crowd how fun it can be to be a member of the drama team.

Invited by Ms. Khelghatian, students and teachers from classes at the end of the day were welcomed with excitement into the IPAC for the performance.

Once the classes were settled in the house, there were two openers that introduced the first performer, Myanna. The talented girl did an energetic interpretation of Chris Brown’s “Yo” and owned the stage.

Second up was Saba performing “Without you” with so much sass, it was almost as if she wrote the song herself.

Afterwards, there were other renditions of various great songs performed by the remaining students in the drama class. Evidently, each performer had enthusiasm and dedication to display a good show for the classes that kindly attended during 5th period on that Friday.

So, if you had never paid attention to the drama department before, you should definitely see a performance or two to fully digest what it means to be a theater student. You won’t regret it!
