On 2/10/2024 Kanye West otherwise known as Ye finally released his brand-new album “Vultures 1,” 20 years after “The College Dropout,” and 2 years after his last album.  People are wondering if it was worth the wait. Since its inception, he has been teasing “Vultures” for a while now.  At first, people didn’t think he was going to release it, but he did and after listening to it, asking people and reading reviews, we will see what the people think. An article from Rolling Stone by Jayson Buford states that “it’s not to be confused with a masterpiece, but the album does reinforce what we already know.  Kanye West is a genius when it comes to the production of his songs.”  I can’t help but to agree with that as in one of his songs, “Keys to My Life,” he samples a song called “Can it be All So Simple,” by the great Wu Tang Clan and in the same song he samples “Slow Down,” by Brand Nubian. All in all, I personally think it’s a great album.  It’s not the best he’s made, but it’s very creative and intriguing to see Kanye doing what Kanye does best – SOUND.
