
Renton RedHawkS senior Angela Fiame made school history at the WIAA State Track and Field Championships, capturing the state title in the girls shot put competition. Fiame delivered an outstanding performance against the best throwers in Washington, earning first place and bringing a state championship back to Renton High School. Throughout the season, Fiame consistently ranked among the top throwers in the state, building momentum with strong performances at league and postseason meets.
Fiame’s championship victory highlights a remarkable season for the RedHawkS track and field program. Her dedication, hard work, and improvement throughout the year paid off on the state’s biggest stage, where she rose to the occasion and secured the gold medal.
